Cancellation policy
Some items in our store are offered as subscriptions. This policy explains how our subscriptions work and how you can cancel them. It applies to all purchases from The Virtue Letters, a DBA of Virtue Works LLC ("we," "us," or "The Virtue Letters").
Our Subscription Plans
The Virtue Letters is offered as a 12-month subscription with two payment options:
Prepaid. You pay for the full 12-month subscription at the time of purchase. There are no future charges. Your subscription includes 24 letters, mailed twice a month for 12 months, then ends. Prepaid subscriptions do not auto-renew.
Monthly Plan. You pay a monthly amount for 12 months. Your payment method is charged automatically each month until all 12 payments are complete. After the 12th payment, your subscription ends. The Monthly Plan does not auto-renew.
Cancelling Your Subscription
Within the first 30 days. You can cancel either plan within 30 days of your purchase for a full refund. Contact us at hello@TheVirtueLetters.com with your order number, and we'll process your refund. You do not need to return any letters you've already received.
After 30 days — Prepaid. Prepaid subscriptions are non-refundable after the 30-day window, but there is nothing to cancel. Your remaining letters will continue to ship on schedule until all 24 have been delivered.
After 30 days — Monthly Plan. You can cancel your Monthly Plan at any time. If you cancel after the 30-day refund window, monthly payments already collected will not be refunded, but no further charges will be made. Any letters you've already paid for will continue to be mailed to you.
How to Cancel or Manage Your Monthly Plan
You can manage or cancel your Monthly Plan at any time from your account. Sign in at the-virtue-letters.myshopify.com/account (or use the "Manage your subscription" link in any of our order confirmation emails) to view your subscription, update your payment method, or cancel.
If you'd prefer, you can also cancel by emailing us at hello@TheVirtueLetters.com with your order number.
Continuing With New Series
The Virtue Letters is a multi-year experience, with new series designed to grow with your child. If you'd like to continue with a new series after your current subscription ends, you'll need to place a new order — your current subscription will not automatically continue or renew.
